Algoma University students who intend to complete a course at another university for credit toward their degree program at AU must complete a Letter of Permission application available online at http://www.algomau.ca/academics/registrar/. Permission will not normally be issued unless the student is in good academic standing. All requests must be supported with rationale and the host institution's course description. Letters of Permission are granted to full-time students at the discretion of the University Registrar and evaluated on an individual basis.
Students from other institutions intending to complete courses at Algoma University on Letter of Permission must initiate the process through their home university. Visiting students will be required to complete the online admissions application available at http://www.algomau.ca/apply/.
